"Pools are written by running groups."

This is a true but also an incomplete statement. It should read "Pools are ALSO 
written by running groups." Do not forget client-initiated backups! - As NW 
data must end in a pool one is used for all backup/archive/clone/stage write 
processes.
So one must consider all these jobs.
