Too add to this incase you want to save time on scanning(approx. 4 hrs for a 
LTO-4 tape) then do a NetWorker server re-naming procedure( You will find the 
procedure in powerlink).. once that is done you will be able to recover the 
index backups fro the productions backups.

no embedded index information there is no such one to add. The save set state 
will never become recoverable. "
