[Networker] Sybase Recovery shows Error:No Backup found , recovering fro
2012-03-02 07:26:42
Sure - what else did you expect?
Index and bootstrap save set belong to the networker server (now listed as a
client) - this will never change.
And they should not be added to another server as they are pretty useless here.
Do not forget - they can be scanned (even with "scanner -i") but as they have
no embedded index information there is no such one to add. The save set state
will never become recoverable.
With respect to your recovery problem:
I might be wrong but according to the manpage the save set name must be
specified like "SYBASE:/sql-server-name[ /database-name]" . However,
"BMS_SERVER" is obviously not a sql-server-name - neither for the source nor
for the destination.
