Hi,

Not sure which access you would like to restrict, so here is info on both:

1. http://<NMC host>:9000 is available only for localhost and unreachable for
outside the localhost.
This can be done by making httpd bind to only 127.0.0.1. Replace "Listen
<host name/ip address>:9000" directives in httpd.conf with "Listen
127.0.0.1:9000" and restart NMC. This will get overwritten though if NMC is
upgraded, or gstconfig runs again.

2. gstd server on 9001 is available for localhost only.
There is no way restrict this currently.

Thanks,

Lena Protasov.

Is there a way to restrict access to the Networker management console to the
localhost only so that it doesn't advertise itself across the network?
