Firewall issues?
Multiple NICs with different routes?
Have you run a trace route?
Have you tried using wireshark to see what's going on?

Subject: [Networker] Telnet failed
Hi i have a windows host and i am trying to take backup of a windows client.
The backup is getting failed.
Everything seems good, except Telnet.
both source and destination is connected on same LAN. My destination server
10.**.**.*** is not listening on port 7937 but server 10.**.**.** does.
Telnet from client to server is good, however telnet from server to client is
Failed.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
