    I went over the release cycle of Networker and found the following:

7.1 9/03
7.2 12/04 (15 months)
7.3 12/05 (12 months)
7.4 6/07 (18 months)
7.5 12/08 (18 months)
7.6 11/09 (11 months)

    So, EMC had a new Networker release every 18 months or less. It has
been 23 months since 7.6 was out and 7.7/8.0 is not even announced or
rumored, so it will probably not be out before 2012. And I am not saying
that when new releases do arrive they bring some great new features.
This makes one wonder what is EMC doing with all the money we pay for
support.

    Does anyone know when is Networker 7.7/8.0 going to be released ?
