A little confused here over 'volretent' (mminfo).

Is volretent the expiration date for the very last save set that was written to the volume? Or is it instead the newest date that any of the save sets on the volume will expire?

In our case, the volretent value is always the same as the ssretent or clretent value for the last save set that was written to the volume. We don't have an cases where we have a tape with an older save set that has a newer ssretent or clretent time than the last save set on that tape, so I can't really tell.

Also, why does 'volretent(20)' still only show MM/DD/YY? 'clretent(20)' and 'ssretent(20)' all show MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS

Thanks.

George
