Yeah, that's what (and my Win Admin mailing list) came up with. That, or
use a Linux boot CD to copy the files to the external drive, after
restoring it back here. That won't change the modification date, either,
I'm told. I was hoping for a NW way to not restore the security, rather
than trying to work around it.
