[Networker] Upgrade to 7.6 series or 7.5, for Win2008 R2 support
2011-02-09 13:09:32
I'm currently running 7.5.2. I have a number of Win2008 R2 clients. I want
to get up to date, in terms of support for Win 2008 R2. It appears that
both the 7.5 series and the 7.6 series support Win2008 R2.
Ordinarily, I'd go for the 7.6 series, since it's a later version number.
I guess my question - should I stay on 7.5.x? What will that give me that
I wouldn't get, by going to 7.6.x? I haven't found a side-by-side
comparison, or recommendation, that explains why one over the other. (I'm
sure it exists, I just haven't found it yet ...). I stayed on 7.5.x
because that series seemed to get support for Win2008 R2 first, before the
7.6 series. But I gather that's changed now?
Thanks
