Hey everyone. Here is another way to do this.

1. Change the port value in gstd.conf.
    http_svc_port = 9000 for http
    clnt_svc_port = 9001 for gstd
    It is typically located in C:\Program Files\Legato\Management\GST\etc
(windows)
    /opt/LGTOnmc/etc (solaris)
 
2. Execute gstconfig to propagate changes
   It is typically located C:\Program Files\Legato\Management\GST\bin
(windows)
    /opt/LGTOnmc/bin (solaris)
    
    For solaris, set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH  before executing gstconfig
    i.e.export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/LGTOnmc/mod:/opt/LGTOnmc/sybasa/lib
