EMC NetWorker supports Exchange Server 2010 via the NetWorker Plug-in
for Exchange Server 2010, for full details and download information read
the Microsoft Exchange 2010 Backup and Recovery Support with EMC
NetWorker Technical Note on Powerlink.

The NetWorker Compatibility Guide reference in the NMM section states
"NOTE: Exchange Server 2010 is supported via the NetWorker Exchange 2010
Plug-in. Please refer to the Microsoft Exchange 2010 Backup and Recovery
Support with EMC NetWorker Technical Note on Powerlink for more details.
NMM will add support for Exchange server 2010 in the NMM 2.3 release."
We thought most customers would look for Exchange Server 2010 support
information in this section of the SCG.

NetWorker fully supported Windows Server 2008 R2 today for NW Server, NW
Storage Node, NW Client, NME and NMSQL. NMM support is coming in the NMM
2.3 release which will enter beta in November adding support for Windows
Server 2008 R2, Exchange Server 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010. If you
have beta test interest, please contact me.

Hi.

I'm configuring backup of sharepoint on a SP farm.

According to the compatibility guide page 64, NMM 2.2.1 supports Windows
Server 2008 R2 and actually Exchange 2010 also.

The NMM config checker says that the Server 2008 R2 OS is NOT supported
and I'm pretty sure that exchange 2010 is not supported with NMM 2.2.1.

Do you know the supportability of NMM 2.2.1 against Windows Server 2008
R2 and exchange 2010? I think the compatibility guide is misleading.

Joey
