Assuming the file has not been deleted for so long that it is no longer in the 
indexes, you can
use nsrinfo to find it, or use the changetime command inside recover to go to a 
date when the
file did exist.

If the file has gone from the indexes, then you are left with scanner if you 
know a ssid that
it is in that still exists on a tape.
