There were no existing drives; that was the problem. This was a brand new
installation of NW 7.4.0, so I could do that bootstrap reading that you
and I spoke of.
Once I removed the Win registry settings that enabled tape binding
persistence, they showed up, and I could configure them for use with NW. I
am at the moment doing the mmrecov phase of the restore.
