If you really have to do this.... nothing is preventing you from actually using 
an i.p. address as a NetWorker client name.

You might use the comment field so that it indicates what this new client is 
for. And, of course, use some i.p. that is obviously fake and unused in your 
environment.

Also make sure that the client is not part of any backup group and that 
Scheduled Backup is unchecked.
