To backup a compatible NAS using NDMP, you need a NDMP client connection
license. There is no license specific if you want to configure an NDMP drive,
for example the jukebox is licensed as usual.

You do not have to have a backup device connected to your NAS. The backup data
can be sent via your LAN to a NetWorker backup device on the server or storage
node. This is referred to as NDMP DSA.
The advantage of having a backup device attached to the NAS is a better backup
performance. The backups are local, and it does not have to go through your
network (just like setting up a dedicated storage node). The drawback is that
you have to have the additional hardware connected to your NAS, or set up the
SAN so that you can share the device between hosts.

No... The NDMP client connection license and the DDS license should suffice.
Of course... please speak with your sales rep for confirmation.
