Hi Everyone,

I was trying to configure my tape library on an offsite storage node. We are
using Netwrker 7.4.4 on win. I was able to successfully configure and backup
runs. We have two tape drives in the library. But when i set the parrallelism
and run in loads the tape on two drives but the backup speed slows down. But if
it is set to 1 and backed up only on 1 drive then it is fast. For eg: If for 1
tape drive it is 11 Mbps , for two tape drives it gets spliitted and it becomes
even 1/3 of original speed that is around 3 Mbps on each drive. Iam using a
SDLT tape drive on Storage Tek L20. It can be a network issue but iam not sure.
But still is there any way to set the parallelism and it does not affect the
speed of tape drive. That is to get the original speed of 11 Mbps on both tape
drives simultaneously.

Your suggestions would be valuable.

Regards,
Kurian
