Hi Guys,

We are trying to run a restore from a SAP backup via the NMSAP module for
NetWorker.

The command we are using is as follows:

brrestore -u / -c force -b xxxxxxx -m /oracle/xxxxxxxxxxx =/mnt/xxxxxxxxxxx

The problem that we are getting is that the restore is failing with the
following error:

BR0300E File '/oracle/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' reported as not found by backup
utility

Now we have a full root permissions on the drive we are restoring back to and I
can see the SAP backup ssid via mminfo as a browsable backup.

I have been digging around and some people have hinted that on a SAP backup
there is a possibility to run a saveset restore.

Has anyone done this before, if so do you know the correct format for the
command?

Some people have also hinted that you can use the standard recover -s xxxxxxx
for this, is this possible? If so what parameters need to be set?

I am quite new to the SAP module so I am trying to get some ideas as to how I
can get this DB restored.

thanks
2dam2
