I'd done configured on notification:
event: savegroup
priority: alert

However i got emails not only on backup failures, i got the below alert as well:

NetWorker deleted media: (notice) Deleted volume: volid=3685717201, 
volname=NL4814L3, location=HP_ESL

NetWorker media: (waiting) Waiting for 1 writable volumes to backup pool 
'DbFull' tape(s) on klmsx111

Not sure whether i'd missed out something... :(
