Thanks for letting me know sir. If we are transitioning to a new server can you
have two entries in this file? Or would we have to change the file to point
back to original if we need data from the old backup server? Thanks.

There is a networker.ini file that is in the root of SYS: on our Netware
servers that contains a line:

default server="networkerservername"

That should be where the default Networker server is listed for NetWare, I am
pretty sure.

Subject: [Networker] Novell questions

I have a question about Novell servers and their servers file. I have about 10
Novell servers that I need to get to a new backup server. I cannot find a
client for Netware but that is not the question. There is a client on there
now, I just want to be able to back the servers up with our new backup server.
On Linux and Windows there is a servers file located under /nsr/res that
contains the servers that are allowed to back them up. On our novell servers
they do not have a servers file and they work with our old backup server. If I
have an account that has rights do I need to add the new backup server to a
file somewhere to be able to back them up. Thanks for taking the time to read
this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
