Hi,
A few years ago I used the Auto Media Management feature on a standalone
device connected to a Storage Node on a remote location. I do not remember
the NW version used back then...
Anyway, now I try the same configuration with Networker 7.5.1. And it just
does not seem to work. I successfuly use Auto Media Management on a Library
directly attached to my backup server.
I remember last time Auto Media Management was used the drive had the
status 'Monitoring' when no tape was detected in the drive, and it
successfuly labeled brand new tapes and tapes used in BackupExec. This time
absolutely nothing happens.
Anyone else using the Auto Media Management on a 7.5.1 Storage Node
My config:
Server: Win2008 x64 with Nw 7.5.1
Device: HP ESL 712e with 7xLTO-3 drives working smooth with AMM
Storage Node: Win2003 x86 with Nw 7.5.1
Device: Standalone external scsci LTO-3 drive
One client saving to SN: Win2003 x86 with Nw 7.5.1.
Thanks,
And regards
