Hi,

Here's what I found on EMC Powerlink...

EMC Solution ID: esg108377

Symptoms
Windows 2008 R2 64 bit  backup failed.

Error message:
--- Unsuccessful Save Sets ---
* client:C:\ 1 retry attempted
* client:C:\ 43705:save: Save Operations value is ignored on this OS platform.
* client:C:\ ERROR: VSS failed to get comp=BCD FileGroup list, writer=ASR
Writer, error=0x80070008: Not enough storage is available

Cause
When installing Windows 2008 R2, Windows does not assign a drive letter to the
reserved drive.

Resolution
>From Windows Disk Manager, assign a drive letter to reserved drive.

NOTE: Windows 2008 R2 was released October 22nd 2009, and will be supported by
NetWorker 7.5.2 and later versions. Contact EMC Software Group for other
supportability information.
