That error message means exactly what it says. The Networker client sees the
entry for the filesystem in the registry but cannot find the filesystem
actually attached to the system.
Is MCS running on the client? If so, then check to make sure that the system is
assigned the filesystem in question.
Is VCS running on the client? If so, verify that the filesystem is attached and
available.

Subject: [Networker] Trouble backing up a CIFS mount
Out of ideas, and searching is turning up empty.
Trying to run a CIFS mount backup of our NAS, since we can then recover it
easier with proper permissions. However the backup keeps failing with 'no such
file or directory' when trying to run the group.
Server: Solaris 10 x64, 7.4.4 (EBS)
---(NMC on a T2000, this is a test environment)
Client (NAS Mounter): Windows 2003 R2, 7.4.4 (EMC)
NAS: Sun 7410 (clustered, one pool)
I've tried both the drive letter ( X:, Y: ) or the direct mount path
(\\x.x.x.x\path) and neither are seen. Manual backup appears to work from the
client, but can't really do it that way (and that shows the mount path method,
which is not working).
Thanks in Advance,
