Hi,
I have a customer running Networker 7.4.3 ... the issue I keep
seeing is related to a couple of servers that have multiple IP addresses
configured. The main server address is in DNS, the secondary addresses are not
.... Similarly one system has multiple alias ip addreses associated with a
single NIC. For various reasons, the customer doesn NOT want these additional
ip addresses added to DNS ... the result I often see is that even though the
backup of a server completes successfully, the session is marked as failed due
to reverse DNS lookup failures (of the extra ip addresses that afaik where not
used to perform the backup) ... Does anyone know how I can stop this happening.
Kind Regards,
Brendan Murphy,
