No - as has been mentioned, if you want to backup clusters without using 
cluster licenses, you must have servers and clients at an appropriate version 
that supports this.

Regardless of whether the 7.5.x client supports cluster backups without cluster 
licenses, the 7.3.x server _doesn't_, and so you've only addressed half of the 
issue.
