[Networker] OS upgrading

Looks like I'm adding complexity to an already complex project...

In the server move that I spoke about in an earlier email, I am nowupgrading the OS as well. So I will be moving a 7.4.4 installation froma RHEL3 to a RHEL4 server. In the DR Guide, I'm a little unclear aboutwhether this can be done with mmrecov or not:


"Moving, copying or using the NetWorker mmrecov command to move a NetWorker

server's media database and resource files to a different OS platform,even betweenUNIX by different vendors, is NOT SUPPORTED. The only exception to thisis ifresources files are rebuilt manually and the NetWorker scanner commandis used torebuild media database and indexes. You can move between versions suchas Sun

Solaris 7 to Sun Solaris 8 or Windows NT to Windows 2000."

Does this mean that mmrecov CAN be used for an OS upgrade of the sametype, but not for RHEL->W2k3 for instance? Or does this mean thatmmrecov cannot be used for any type of OS upgrade? Thanks,
