Hi James,

Both Unix and Windows servers can backup NDMP clients (e.g. Celerra, NetApp). 

Sorry but I don't understand what you mean by "Unix clients with ndmp jobs".
If the clients are Unix hosts, then the server is backing up Unix clients, and 
hence, they are not related to NDMP. 

On another subject, moving a NetWorker Server from Unix to windows can be much 
trouble. The media db cannot be migrated from Unix to Windows and this means 
that 
either
 (1) the old server is kept alive for awhile in order to do recovers of old 
backups
 or
 (2) the existing tapes are scanned on the new server to populate the new media 
db with the old backups (permissions and blocksize issues will happen but can 
be resolved 
but scanning tapes would take too long.)
