I occasionally see the same problem for 7.4.4 on a Win2k03 box where
NMCASA fails to start. I`ve tried restarting the services but the GST
service will start but not allow logon, then the service stops....I
always end up rebooting the server and restarting the job.....

How frequently does that problem occur? I see it on a Linux server every
other month or so. Its not a big deal for me too restart the console at
that
frequency. If you are running the NMC on the same system you are using
as
your NetWorker server, you should consider moving it to a separate
server.
