Hi Ken,
I have not encountered this problem, but you may want to verify that you
configured your tape device as an LTO-3 (instead of the default of 8mm 5GB).

Subject: [Networker] Error recovery bootstrap
Hi,
Currently at a DR test and trying to do a bootstrap recovery of the Networker
server, configured the tape drives run the mmrecov it finds the file and starts
to restore but hits a certain spot and ends with the following error
Nsrmmdbasm: SYSTEM ERROR : No such file or directory
Uasm:asm nsrmmdbasm cannot be invoked or died unexpectedly
Uasm: error running nsrmmdbasm, cannot recover file
/backup/mm/mmvolume6/backup/mm
Then ends.
This is Networker 7.2.2 - yes very old. When I call EMC support a I hear is not
supported.
It is a LTO2 tape media reading from a LTO3 tape drive, which should be okay.
Any ideas? Anyone see this before?
