Did you really mean to say you are running NetWorker 7.2.2 or 7.4.2? If you
are running 7.4.2, then when this problem occurs, how much memory is your
server's nsrjobd process using? What does "top" say?

I get the same problem with 7.4.1 on Solaris 10 and the release notes for
7.4.4 speak to issues with nsrjobd that are supposedly fixed in 7.4.4.

I have been putting off installing the 7.4.4 update only because I want to
get rid of my Solaris 10 NetWorker server and its tape library anyway. What
I do is simply restart NetWorker once a week. Also, try to get rid of as
many persistent warning messages as you can because dealing with them
apparently uses up memory.
