In version 7.12 when the windows system account was missing in the directory 
security tab or denied access
The backup would only run 4 directories deep
Everything below the fourth dir would not be backed up but the message would 
alwauys be
Backup succesfully

Imagine this with 500 users homedirectories

Thanks a lot Franck for ur quick reply... Iam sorry to not mention the 
version....well iam running Networker 7.4 sp 4 on windows 2000...

I have not put a directive for this...so its not that case..Well u told about 
system account missing from security tab...What is tht actually ?
