Hi Mike,
I can remember having this problem in a project some time ago. I believe
we have solved this problem on the QFS level and not in NetWorker as we
were not able to segment the saveset size whitin NetWorker. In QFS you
can enable segmentation which would allow to copy/restore a large file
in parallel with multiple tapedrives. I think this is what you are
looking for. If you need some more specific information how we did this
in the mentioned project I could send you more detailes by tomorrow.
regards -attila

We write all of our backups to a samqfs file system. I want to know if we
can limit the size of each saveset to something like 1TB. We have a couple
systems that we backups that have multiple TBs of data and therefore it
legato creates a very large saveset file. I would like to limit these in
size so that the samqfs can begin to work them to tape without waiting for
the entire job to complete. Is there a parameter to set the maximum size of
a saveset file?
