Tim ,
thank you for you informations
>This means that the NetWorker server bbbb doesn't have any records in its
>media database for any index savesets for the client aaaa.
Normal it is a new server , futur in production. I guessed that the restore
of the bootstrap of the old server has informations about indexes..
It is a specific tape like describe in the procedure...
>What document
>did you follow when you moved everything from the old EBS server to the
>new NetWorker server?
It is the document EMC Desaster Recovery Guide 7.5 Ref 300-004-426-revA01
I tested the migration wit the 7.4.4
I know that is a document (new server , new name) for the version 7.5.0, but
should work with the version 7.4.4 .
>When you migrated your server from the EBS server to your new NetWorker
>server, did you give the new NetWorker server the exact same name as your
>old EBS server?
No it is a different name . It is possible to migrate to a new host
as I know..
>Also, on your new NetWorker server, can you find the index saveset listed
>for the client in question, using mminfo?
mminfo -ot -q 'name=index:aaaa' -r 'ssid,savetime,client,volume'
>If that doesn't work, try
mminfo -ot -av -r 'ssid, savetime, client, volume' | grep 'index:'
I cannot test that today.... Monday , I can...
>If you still have your old EBS server available, can you find the index
>saveset using either of those methods?
I will check that Monday...
