Where can I find a 7.x client for Solaris 2.6 ? The EMC web site
doesn't
list anything that old.
IIRC (and this is from my increasingly spotty memory, but...) when
we went
from 6.1 to 7.x we had one existing Solaris 2.6 client (SPARC) and
had to
leave the 6.1 Networker client on it. 7.x wouldn't run, once again
IIRC.
I'm fairly certain that I recall 6.1.3 being the "most recent" client
that would happily run on a Solaris 2.6 server.
If you really need this, you can sometimes get a hold of it by logging
a support case and asking for it. In the past I've done this and got
particularly old versions of the software (e.g., 5.7, etc.)
Cheers,
Preston.
