So are you suggesting running nsr_moss_save -w to see the induvidual site
applications, and specify them as a list in the save set field on the moss
client ?

Or should I use multiple client resources to backup induvidual sites with
nsr_moss_save?

This is a .Net Exception. How many Web Applications are in the SharePoint Farm?
What is the maximum number for the count of Site Collections in any Web
Application? If either answer is greater than 64, then .Net throws this
exception. This is limitation of .Net, we will have to implement a workaround
for the same in future. For time being, users can always backup their
SharePoint farms into multiple savesets.

I updgraded the NMM module on the sharepoint servers to the new NMM 2.2.

Now they give a new error.

"The number of WaitHandles must be less than or equal to 64"

And the "networker sharepoint service controller" stops.

Again: nothing about e.g. WaitHandles on the KB on powerlink.

Any ideas?

Johannes

The same issue was reported by another customer. EMC fixed it
(LGTsc27321) in NMM 2.1.1 SP1 build 158.

Hi.

I'm configuring NMM 2.1 backup of a sharepoint server in a distributed
config.

The filesystem backup and the application backup is no problem.

But when I runn the nsr_moss_save backup, which I can do from the CMD on

the client by doing

nsr_moss_save -s nwserver -N <Moss farm>

I get this error:
"
Backup will not proceed because there in not enough disk space availabe
to
stage the data for site-collection
"

I get the same error if I run the client via savegrp / group in
Networker.

I can run the nsr_moss_save and poing the saveset to one particular
site,
but when I want to do the whole thing, I get this error.

There is more the 50% free space on drive C. And more then 70% free
space
on drive D. The "temporary storage location" is on D:

Powerlink has no information about this error.

Anyone?

Johannes
