Time to time, it can occur that inventory to get corrupted for sample
when a drive get stuck or when it is very busy.

When a tape is loaded in a lib (using nsrjb -d and then nsrjb -i),
networker does 2 things :
1) it update mediadb tape's record with location equals to jukebox name
2) it update jukebox inventory map with volume, volumeid and slot number.

With nsr74x, networker try to detect jukebox operation and tries to automate
nsrjb -I calls. But ...
A good practice I always try to follow is to run on a daily base a complete
jukebox inventory. When barcode is used, barcode is just rode without
the tapes to be mounted in a drive and label rode. It does not take too long
to complete.
Doing it before next "backup" day to begin, in an idle period and
you will always be safe. lol

Cheers

I ran nsrjb -I -S <#> and now all three volumes are having the correct
location.

Any idea why NW deleted/unset the location field ? Those volumes were
working just fine.

Thanks
