Does anyone on this list use Novell OES as an OS and get it to play
nicely with Legato Networker 7.4.3? I am backing up a cluster of servers
that have /nfs shares and also mountpoints with over 1 TB of data on
each. Just curious how it is working for you. I am getting a whopping 5
kb/ps on each stream. All other ones run at 60 MB or so. Thanks.

Matt-

We're currently backing up a single OES 1 box, but it has small
filesystems and we never have any problems with it. Our NetWorker
server is 7.4.2 on RHEL 5.

We're still backing up about a dozen traditional NetWare boxes, some with
volumes in the 500 GB range. We see random issues with those on
occassion, but not as much now that we're running the 7.2.x NetWorker
client on them.

Some of our admins took part in the OES beta programs and we have one
non-production OES 2 sp2 box, but I don't know if we've ever tried to back
it up with NetWorker. Novell's choice of volume managers for OES has
meant that OES 2 adoption isn't in the cards for us, at the moment.

I'm curious what filesystem type (and volume manager) you're using on the
1 TB+ volumes?
