Is anyone else using the MacOS 10.5 client with a large-ish number of files?
I'm seeing the "save" process balloon to 3.5GB RAM and hang after about 30
minutes and 2 million files.
We're on 7.5.1 client and server now, but the problem also existed on 7.2 and
7.4.
Support tells me that a totally irrelevant error is supposed to be fixed in the
next version. That's nice. This is also what they told me before.
dtruss on the save process simply shows malloc failing, which would make sense
if 3.5GB is a 32-bit process limit.
