Is it possible to configure MSCS virtual server as the storage node ?

I have three Win2K3 hosts in a cluster which are configured as storage nodes 
(using FQDN) in the Networker.

The probelm I am having with this config is that the NW fails to detect 
adv_file devcie when one of the hosts goes down and because the adv_file (SAN 
LUN) is allocated to the physical node it doesn't failover with the other 
resources.
