Just want to make sure that I understand your situation.  First question, the 
client with the nfs mount point (let's call it sysA), do you mean the mount 
point (i.e. data) is owned by sysA and then served out via NFS? 

If so, on the second system (let's call it sysB), are you entering the recover 
command this way? :  recover -c sysA ?  (this should work).

Or does sysA have an NFS mounted file system on it, which is backed up via a 
third client or a NAS device (let's call is sysC)?  If so, then I guess you are 
saying that on sysA, a recover -c sysC is working.... but, that command doesn't 
work on sysB, is that right?  If so, I'm not sure what is happening in your 
case.
