This 'probe' data as you are calling it will also appear in your
savegroup completion notifications because you are backing up a pre 7.4
client with a 7.4 server. This is EMCs subtle way of reminding you that
you need to update your client to the same level as the Networker
server. Until you upgrade this client to be at least 7.4, it will
continue to include this 'probe' data... After that, it will look like a
savegroup completion except it will only mention the client and its
save-sets that either succeeded or failed... 

I don't believe there is any way to edit what 'owner notification'
produces for output...
