Yes - that's the checkbox I mentioned.  Doing this, however, requires
the user to have access to configure the resource.  "Configure" is an
admin-type access.  Is there a way to clean a device with only "Monitor"
and "Operate" privileges?

If your NetWorker server is set up for automatic cleaning for your tape
library, just open up the device resource and click on the cleaning
required
button. Within a few minutes, NetWorker will clean the tape drive,
provided
of course that it isn't in use.
