If I read the nsrjb man page correctly (never a safe assumption on a
Monday), it seems to me that if Networker recognizes the barcode, it
should read the volume name from the barcode and move on. However, I've
seen it many times read the barcode of unique long-in-use tapes apparently
without error, but still load the tapes to read the volume name
regardless.
