What do you mean by "hidden?" You're taking data and expanding every byte of
it when you encrypt it, so there certainly will require more overhead on the
client who's data is being encrypted and more space on whatever media you
back up to. How much of a hit in performance and space is something you need
to test.

You would use the same key you used when you encrypted the data. There is no
default. You set the encryption key on your NetWorker server's server
resource.

Yup. As far as I know, that pass phrase is only needed if you are encrypting
data via the aes asm.
