I am running into the same issue but with the SQL licenses. I did what you said
and I have freed up a license, so how do I get my new SQL client to pick up the
now available license.

No one responded to my posting. I am not feeling the love. I do not think the
licenses freed up because the exchange client had two client entries. One for
OS and one for Exchange module. I removed the client using the exchange module
and nothing. Once I removed both clients and recycled networker it freed up the
licenses.

I know it's tough out there. Ken Ciolek and Venkat Tudi who left AIG are
begging to come back. They are fighting over one networker operation position.

If AIG survives I should be all right. So busy right now.

EMC EDL configuring and supporting. Upgrading all servers to 7.4.4. Installing
dedicated UNIX backup servers as part of a veritas CFS on Solaris 10
global/local zones.

Migrating all servers off the SN6K tape san. Netapp stuff going on all the
time. Less people more work but hey that's not a complaint.

Hope your doing well. Hang in there.

Ed,
Did you ever get an answer? If so what was it and did it work? Man things are
tight out here in the consulting world, glad to see that you're still hanging
in there!

Subject: [Networker] Networker licenses

All,

I know there is a command or a process to reclaim licenses but I cannot
remember the syntax. I have a networker server with 17 exchange module licenses
but only 10 exchange clients actually running. I even deleted the
decommissioned clients but nsrlic -v still shows those clients holding
licenses.

Any help would be appreciated.
