Just to confirm - Have these issues been primarily on one platform, or on 
many?

We have a SPARC Solaris 8 / (Sun OEM) Networker 7.2 server and about 120 
mixed clients that are supposed to be upgraded to 7.4 this year (ha! as if 
I have time! :-).  I've not seen these issues in my small test environment 
- I've seen groups hang, but so far it has appeared to be disk-to-tape 
staging-related.

I'm very interested if these issues are showing up repeatedly on Solaris.
