Hello,

have you an /nsr/res/servers file on your client ? If so, what does it contains 
?

Have you multiples NIC on your client ? Have you provided a value for Server 
Network Interface in the NMC for your client ?

Can you ping the server and the client, both with IP and name resolution ?
