I am experiencing the same issues after upgrade from 7.4.3 to 7.5 with NMC.  As 
a workaround I manually started the EMC GST Service.  It's set to automatic, 
but doesn't start when attempting to logon to NMC.  I am looking into this 
further as we speak.  BTW I am running on Windows 2008 server.
