NSRJB
nsrjb -ln -S(slot location) -f(device---same as above \\.\devicename)
-ln loads the tape into -f (device) from the slot specified in -S(slot)
SCANNER
scanner -m -v \\.\devicename (rebulids just media database) for me...my tape
device is \\.\Tape0, \\.\Tape1, etc.
use -i instead of -m if you want to rebuild both the index and the media
database
-v is for verbose so you can see the process
These are the options support gave me at one time when I had some issues
scanning tapes. If you need more help, the Networker command line reference
explains all the sordid details on scanner and nsrjb.
