Hi,
The nsrmm -d -S # command will only remove the data from the media database. To actually get rid of the data on the tape, you will need to stage the valid savesets off that tape to another tape and then recycle the original tape.

NetWorker does not go back and blank out the tape sections for deleted (expired) savesets on full tapes.

Does nsrmm -d -S # command remove data from the tape or just from the media
database ?

I would like to delete some save sets from the tape which has mixed data on it.

Is there an option in the networker software to remove specific saveset ID ?

Thanks
