Has anyone got experience of using Networker with content aware de-dup
within a VTL and how that compares with in-line/post process hash based
de-dup alternatives?

How do hash based solutions work with staging/cloning when there isn't
an understanding of the networker savestream? (I believe they see a
fixed or variable length set of bytes).

What gets staged/cloned to tape if there isn't an understanding of
savesets?

When a restore is required from tape, does the data need to moving to
VTL then reconstituting before a restore can happen?

Thanks
Nick
